Workshop PYGMALION: Image-Body-Space interaction

The workshop PYGMALION with Chris Ziegler, Hugo Paquete and Bertha Bermudez will follow Pygamlion's path of hybrid transgression… In Chris Ziegler's new production "corpus pygmalion" he developed an 'electronic unitard', where the dancer's movement creates sound and light.

 

There are several ways to use the technology - as multi-angle camera or as interactive costume. the dancers in the workshop are requested to look at themselves from various angles, every single move has an effect on sound and light, surrounding them.
